Overview
The current panel of 98 PLVs ends on 11 December 2026, so a fresh panel of 100 is being prepared under the NALSA Scheme for Para Legal Volunteers (Revised). The notice says PLV work is voluntary and not a government job, so there is no reservation, although all groups will be represented. The term is one year and may be extended.
Who can apply
Permanent residents of Lakhisarai district, at least matric pass, with good knowledge of writing English and Hindi, and over 21 years of age on 21 November 2026. Retired staff, self-help group members, anganwadi workers, NGO workers, students, teachers, doctors, senior citizens and earlier PLVs (except advocates) can apply. PLVs get an honorarium of Rs. 750 per working day after their work is assessed.
How to apply
Fill in the prescribed form, attach self-attested certificates and a self-addressed envelope with Rs. 55 of stamps, and send it by registered post only to the Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Civil Court Campus, Lakhisarai 811311, by 21 November 2026, 5 PM. Selection is by interview; details are on the DLSA notice board.
