Overview
The internships are stipend-based, for 3 months at first, and can be extended as the Trust needs. The walk-in interview is on 16 November 2026, 10 AM to 1 PM, at the Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya, National Book Trust, India, Nehru Bhawan, 5 Institutional Area, Phase-2, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi 110070. Bring the filled application form from nbtindia.gov.in with self-attested copies of certificates, and the originals for checking.

Eligibility
- Technical Intern: bachelor's degree, or pursuing one, in computer science, IT or a related field, with basic programming (Python, JavaScript or HTML/CSS) and familiarity with Git.
- Content Intern: bachelor's degree, or pursuing one, in English, Hindi, literature or any Indian language, with strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Outreach Intern: bachelor's degree, or pursuing one, in sociology, social work or mass communication, with a basic understanding of running workshops and building partnerships.
The stipend is Rs. 10,000 a month for undergraduates and Rs. 15,000 for graduates. Incomplete applications are rejected, and no TA or DA is paid for the interview.
