Overview
Under Notification No. 29/SO/2026 dated 27 October 2026, the High Court for the State of Telangana is hiring 16 Research Assistants (Law) on contract for one year. Fourteen will assist the Judges of the High Court and two will work at the Telangana State Judicial Academy, Secunderabad.
The notification does not state the pay or an application fee.

Who can apply
- You must be an Indian citizen and under 30 years of age on 1 July preceding the last date for applications.
- You need a law degree from a recognised university, either the 5-year course after 10+2 or a 3-year course taken after a regular 3-year degree.
- You must have passed the law degree within the 2 years before this notification.
- You must not be pursuing another course or occupation that would keep you away from work.
- You need computer skills, including legal research tools such as Manupatra, SCC Online, LexisNexis and Westlaw.
How to apply
- 1Fill in the application form printed at the end of the notification. It is also on the High Court website.
- 2Attach copies attested by a Gazetted Officer of your SSC, Intermediate, Degree, LLB and Enrollment Certificates, along with a valid government ID. Include your email ID and contact number.
- 3Write "Application for the post of Research Assistants (Law)" on the cover.
- 4Send it by registered post with acknowledgement due to the Registrar General, High Court for the State of Telangana, to arrive by 5 pm on 30 November 2026. The Registry is not responsible for postal delays.
