The posts are on honorarium under the Viksit Bharat - G RAM G scheme, as directed by the commissioner's letter of 16 October 2026 (notice no. 380, dated 4 November 2026). Each of the 23 listed gram panchayats gets one Gram Rozgar Sahayak, and seats follow the district reservation roster. Submit the filled form with documents at the Janpad Panchayat Bijapur office, by hand or by post, between 10:30 AM and 5 PM, from 5 to 30 November 2026. Late forms are not considered.

• Class 12 pass. SC and ST candidates need Class 10. For the Bastar and Surguja divisions the notice sets a priority order of Class 12, then Class 10, then Class 8.
• You must live in the gram panchayat you apply for.
• Age 18 to 40 on 1 January 2026, with relaxation for reserved categories under the rules.
• Registration with the employment office is required.

A merit list of 100 marks is made for each gram panchayat: up to 70 for academic marks, 15 for a one-year computer diploma or certificate (PGDCA, DCA or ITI), and up to 15 for work experience such as data entry or government rural development schemes. The engagement is fully temporary, for up to one year. The posts are sanctioned up to 28 February 2027, and any continuation depends on the department's needs and the candidate's work. The honorarium is Rs. 9,960 a month with no other allowance. If no SC or ST woman applies for a women's seat in that category, a man of the same category may be chosen. Attach self-attested copies of mark sheets, age proof, residence and caste certificates and the employment registration card.
