Advertisement Notification No. 03 of 2026, dated 16 October 2026, requires a valid Ladakh domicile certificate. Admit cards are available from 14 November, and PST and PET begin on 20 November 2026. The written exam date will be announced later.

Age and selection
Age must be 18 to 28 on 1 January 2026, with 5 years' relaxation for SC, ST and ALC, and rules for ex-servicemen. Stages are PMT, PET, document scrutiny, a typing test (Junior Assistant) and a driving test (Warder), and a 100-mark written exam. Physical tests differ by post. For Assistant Superintendent Jail, the notice asks for a PG degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or Criminology. Read the 26-page notice for your post's full criteria.

Apply on police.ladakh.gov.in from 16 October to 8 November 2026. Date of birth and category cannot be edited after you submit.
