Under Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2026, dated 19 October 2026, the Ladakh Police Subordinate Service Recruitment Board is filling 17 posts in Ladakh Fire and Rescue Services. You need a valid Domicile Certificate of the UT of Ladakh.

Age and reservation
The age limit is 18 to 28 on 1 January 2026, or 18 to 40 for Sweeper / Safaiwala. SC, ST and ALC candidates get 5 years' relaxation. Of the 11 Fireman posts, 10 are for ST and 1 for EWS. The 1 Fireman Ministerial post is for ST. Horizontal reservation is 20% for ex-Agniveers and 6% for ex-servicemen.

Physical standards
For Fireman and Fireman Ministerial, men need a height of 162 cm and chest of 81 cm, 85 cm expanded, and women need a height of 152 cm. Men must run 1,600 m in 7 minutes and women 1,000 m in 6 minutes 30 seconds. The other events are rope climbing, load carrying, sit-ups and a beam walk, and each must be cleared separately.
Fireman Drivers need 10th pass and an LMV (TRANS) licence by the last date. We read the fee as listed for Fireman, so check the sections for the other posts in the notice, and the qualifications too.
How to apply
- 1Apply at police.ladakh.gov.in from 22 October to 8 November 2026. Date of birth and category cannot be edited after submission.
- 2Pay the fee online by net banking, card or UPI. It is non-refundable.
- 3Download the admit card from 14 November 2026. The PST and PET start from 20 November.
