Overview
The district administration and education department are placing Sangwari Guruji teachers in government schools in mining-affected areas that have many students and few teachers. This is a temporary arrangement until a regular teacher is posted or until 31 March 2027, with no appointment order and no claim to regularisation. Hand in the application form in person at the office of the principal or head of the school you are applying to, by 16 November 2026, 4 PM (notice dated 6 November 2026, approved by the Collector).

Rules
- Only residents of the development block where the school is can apply. If no eligible candidate is found, candidates from other blocks in Balod district may be taken.
- Age 21 to 40 on 1 January 2026.
- Attach a residence certificate, self-attested documents and the consent form.
- The SMDC/SMC and the head of school check the forms and rank candidates on marks: for higher secondary schools, 20% of the Class 12 percentage, 30% of graduation and 50% of postgraduation. Other school levels use their own formula in the notice. On a tie, the older candidate goes first.
- A waiting list of 5 is kept, valid until 31 March 2027. Pay is cut for days absent, and only government holidays are allowed.
