Age and place of posting
On 9 November 2026 you must be 18 to 35, or 18 to 25 for Fireman A (26) and MTS (29). The upper limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC and ST and 3 years for OBC against posts reserved for them, with other relaxations as per government orders.
Codes 10, 16, 17, 18 and 19 are at Sriharikota and Rasayani, code 12 at Sriharikota and Balasore, and you state your preference. Code 20 is at Rasayani, code 30 at ADRIN Secunderabad, and the rest at Sriharikota.
Fee and selection
Everyone pays Rs. 750 for codes 07 to 15, or Rs. 500 for codes 16 to 30, online. Only those who appear in the written test get a refund: the full amount for women, SC, ST, PwBD and ex-servicemen, and Rs. 500 or Rs. 400 respectively for others.
Technical, scientific, library, technician and draughtsman posts have an 80-question written test in 90 minutes, then a qualifying skill test. Fireman A has a written test, physical efficiency test and medical examination. MTS has a 100-question written test in 90 minutes. Check the advertisement for the Nurse B and driver schemes.
