Age and selection
The age section sets 18 to 46 on 1 September 2026, meaning born between 1 September 1980 and 31 August 2008. The maximum is relaxed by 5 years for SC and ST, 3 years plus armed forces service for ex-servicemen, and 10 years for disabled persons. The terms section separately mentions a limit of 45 for allied, administrative and supporting staff, with 5 years for SC and ST and 3 for BC, so check with the college if this affects you.
Selection gives 70% weight to the qualifying examination and 30% to contract or outsourced service in government institutions.
