Overview
The posts are temporary, with consolidated pay, and last as long as the project. Engagement is for one year at first and can be extended year by year up to five years on performance. Send the filled form (Annexure I, II or III) with one set of self-attested documents from Class 10 onwards by speed post to the Nodal Officer, CoE in SMAT, PG Department of Chemistry, Fakir Mohan University, Vyasa Vihar, Baleshwar 756089, to reach by 18 November 2026, 5 PM. Write the post name and advertisement number (FMU-CoE-OSHEC-01/2026) on the envelope. Also email the form as a single PDF to smatcoefmu@gmail.com. Shortlisted candidates are called for interview by email only.

Eligibility
- PDF / Research Associate: full-time M.Sc. and a doctoral degree in chemistry, physics, materials science or an allied subject. Post-doctoral research on smart materials or thin films is desirable.
- Research Assistant: full-time M.Sc. in chemistry or physics (or allied) with at least 55%. Project experience is preferred.
- Lab Technician: full-time M.Sc. in chemistry or physics with at least 55%. Lab and instrument experience and MS Office skills are desirable.
- Ages are on the last date of application. SC, ST, PwD and women get relaxation as per Odisha rules. Research Assistants and Lab Technicians may join FMU's Ph.D. programme if eligible.
