Eligibility and pay
Engineer posts need a BE, BTech or BSc (Engg) in Civil, Mechanical, Welding / NDT, Electrical or Instrumentation with 60%. Experience must be in construction for refinery, petrochemical, fertiliser, power or nuclear plants. Officer posts need a graduate degree or engineering diploma with a Materials Management diploma. Monthly pay in X, Y and Z cities is Rs. 80,000, 76,000 and 72,000 for Officer and Engineer Gr. II; Rs. 96,000, 91,200 and 86,400 for Gr. III; and Rs. 1,12,000, 1,06,400 and 1,00,800 for Gr. IV. Age limits are relaxed by 5 years for SC and ST, 3 for OBC (NCL), and 10 for PwBD.
