Age and selection
The age limit is 21 to 35 on 1 January 2026, with relaxation under state rules. Serving contract staff and some other groups can apply up to 45. Applications are ranked on merit, then shortlisted candidates take a practical or skill test, and marks are combined. The notice sets out the marks for each post, including experience in rural development schemes.
