Eligibility
- A bachelor's degree from a recognised university for most posts. Supply and Marketing Inspectors also need good Hindi in Devanagari.
- Senior Cane Development Inspector and Cane Development Inspector need a bachelor's degree in agriculture (a master's in agricultural science gets preference).
- Two years in the Territorial Army or an NCC B or C certificate gets preference, as set out post-wise.
- Excise Inspector has physical standards: height 167.6 cm for general men and 152 cm for women, with lower limits for SC and hill-area candidates, and a chest measurement for men.
- Age 21 to 42 on 1 July 2026 (born not before 2 July 1984 and not after 1 July 2005), with relaxations under Uttarakhand rules.
