Overview
Under the National AYUSH Mission, the Regional Ayurvedic and Unani Officer and District Homoeopathic Medical Officer, Sonbhadra, invite applications for part-time contract posts at Ayushman Arogya Mandir yoga wellness centres, in a notice dated 28 October 2026. The appointment is for one year, and local candidates get preference for Yoga Instructor posts.
Instructors hold at least 32 one-hour sessions a month, or at least 20 one-hour classes for women's groups for the women's posts.

Eligibility
The age limit is 21 to 65.
Yoga Assistant: high school or intermediate, then a yoga certificate course of at least 3 months, plus 3 years' work in a naturopathy clinic, hospital or yoga centre.
Yoga Instructor: a 3-year BA (Yoga), MSc (Yoga) or MA (Yoga) with 1 year's experience, or a PG diploma of at least one year with 2 years' experience, or a Yoga Wellness Instructor certificate from the Yoga Certification Board, New Delhi. Experience counts only after the qualifying degree or diploma.

- 2Attach a self-addressed 23x10 cm envelope with a Rs. 25 stamp, marked Registered, and write the post name on the application envelope.
- 3Send it by registered or speed post to the Regional Ayurvedic and Unani Officer, Pipri Road, Imarti Colony, Robertsganj, Sonbhadra, by 5 pm on 20 November 2026.
