Overview

Pay level or CTC you must already hold
Apart from the same or a higher scale, you need at least two years in the next lower scale, or an equivalent CTC if you are on a consolidated salary or in the private sector. The CTC needed is Rs. 23.91 lakh a year for General Manager, Rs. 11.96 lakh for Manager and Rs. 8.97 lakh for Dy. Manager. Candidates claiming CTC must show a signed Form 16.
Age relaxation and cut-off date
All eligibility conditions, including age, qualification, experience and pay, are judged on 30 September 2026. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and for PwBD and Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India rules. Internal candidates have no age bar.
Selection
NPCC will decide the method based on the number of applications. It may be a personal interview or another suitable process. Shortlisted candidates receive rail fare as per the notice for travel beyond 30 km.
