Overview
Under Memo No. ME/01/393/2006 (Part file)/3975, dated 8 October 2026, the council is hiring for one year initially, renewable each year. The copy we read carries a Draft stamp, and the closing date of 31/10/2026 is handwritten on it, so check both on the JEPC website. New applicants' age and qualifications are counted on 30 September 2026. Candidates from earlier JEPC advertisements have separate rules, and those who sat the exam need not pay the fee.

Age, fee and selection
The minimum age is 21. The maximum is 35 for UR and EWS, 37 for BC-I and BC-II, 38 for women in those groups, and 40 for SC and ST, with 10 more for PwBD. The fee is Rs. 1,000 for State Program Manager, District Program Manager and Finance Controller, and Rs. 500 for the others. SC and ST pay half. The merit list uses 200 marks: written test 100, academics 50, technical proficiency 20, interview 20 and experience 10.
