Eligibility in brief
- Most arts and science subjects, Computer Science, Geomatics and Molecular Medicines: Master's in the subject with at least 55%. In most of these, SC, ST and non-creamy OBC need 50%.
- Engineering and Food Technology: BE, BTech or BS and ME, MTech or MS or an integrated MTech in a relevant branch, with first class in either degree.
- Management Studies: Bachelor's in any discipline and MBA, PGDM, CA, ICWA or MCom with first class.
- AYUSH Sciences: MD or MS in an AYUSH system with at least 55%.
- Planning: Master's in Planning with 60% in the specified degree, plus a qualifying first degree or Master's listed in the notice.
- Kalam Academy (Software Engineering, Solar PV, Food Technology, Mechanical, E&CE): PhD with first class in all preceding degrees.
You also need NET, SLET or SET, unless your PhD meets the UGC conditions set out in the notice. Two of the Mathematical Sciences posts need a Master's in Data Sciences, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics or Applied Statistics.
Shortlisting
If there are many applicants, the university ordinarily calls 20 candidates for one post and 5 for each additional post. Scoring is out of 100, with 80 for academics, 10 for research publications and 10 for teaching or post-doctoral experience.

- 2Fill in the form with a detailed CV and pay the non-refundable Rs. 1,000 fee online by 2 December 2026. PwD candidates are exempt. You cannot edit the form after submitting it.
- 3Print the form and send it with self-attested documents to the Registrar so that it arrives by 4 pm on 7 December 2026. Employed candidates apply through their employer.
