Qualifications
Senior Scientific Officer: first division MSc, or PhD, in Zoology, Physical Anthropology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology or Forensic Science, with Zoology or Botany at BSc level, and 5 years of forensic DNA casework.
Senior Scientific Assistant: the same qualification, with 3 years' DNA casework.
Scientific Assistant: MSc with at least second division in the same subjects, with 1 year's DNA casework.
Lab Attendant: 10th pass, with preference for 10+2 science. Experience is desirable, not essential.
Experience from a course, internship or dissertation doesn't count, and FACT or FACT Plus holders get preference at screening.
