Age, local cadre and selection
Applicants must be 18 to 44 on 1 July 2026. The upper limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC, ST, BC and EWS, 10 years for physically handicapped persons, and 3 years for ex-servicemen.
Only candidates of the local cadre are eligible. District means Khammam District. Zone-IV covers Khammam, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Warangal and Hanumakonda districts.
Selection is out of 100, with 90 marks from the qualifying examination and up to 10 for age, at 0.5 per completed year from age 18. The merit list follows the rule of reservation.

How to apply
Download the form from the college website, http://gmc.khammam.org, and submit it in person with self-attested certificates at the Office of the Principal, Government Medical College, Khammam, by 5 pm on 31 October 2026. SC candidates need a latest community certificate under Act No. 15 of 2025.
