Eligibility
The upper age limit is 45 years, or 50 for Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic Medicine and Community Medicine.
You need a postgraduate MD, MS or DNB, or an MSc with PhD in Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology or Microbiology, and must meet the requirements of the Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions, 2025, on the interview date. Annexure A sets out a preferential order for super-specialty departments. For example, Cardiology looks first for DM, DNB or DrNB in Cardiology, then MD or DNB in General Medicine, Paediatrics or Respiratory Medicine.

- 2Come for document verification between 9 am and 11 am on 17 November 2026. Nobody is admitted after 11 am, and only candidates whose documents are verified can attend the interview.
- 3If more than 10 candidates per post turn up, a multiple-choice screening test may be held, and the top five are called. Selection depends solely on the interview.
