Eligibility in brief
- Professor: PhD with at least 10 peer-reviewed or UGC-listed publications, a research score of 120, a Master's with 55% and 10 years' teaching or research experience. An outstanding professional with a PhD and 10 years' experience may also qualify.
- Assistant Professor: PhD in the specialisation, with a first class at Master's or Bachelor's level in the relevant branch, and 2 years' experience in teaching, research or industry.
- Professor of Practice: Bachelor's or Master's in the relevant engineering branch. Code 06 needs at least 15 years in missile, aircraft and robotic control. Code 07 covers areas such as SONAR, radar and electronic warfare; check its experience requirement in the advertisement.

- 2Pay the Rs. 1,000 non-refundable fee through SBI Collect, unless you are SC, ST, PwBD or a woman, who are exempt.
- 3Sign the downloaded form and send it with self-attested documents and the payment receipt by speed or registered post to The Registrar, Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, Girinagar, Pune 411025. It must arrive by 5:30 pm on 1 December 2026.
