Eligibility
Every trade needs 10th or SSC with Science subjects and at least 55%, plus one of these in the trade:
- an ITI certificate or national or state trade certificate;
- 2 years' full-time experience as an apprentice trainee at a recognised institution; or
- 3 years' work experience in a government body, PSU or autonomous body.
A screening committee shortlists candidates for the trade test and written examination.
How to apply
- 1Pay the non-refundable Rs. 500 fee, where applicable, through SBI Collect. Check the advertisement for who is covered.
- 2Apply at recruitment.cftri.res.in between 10 am on 19 October and 11:59 pm on 18 November 2026, and print the form by then, because it is not available afterwards.
- 3Sign the print-out and send it with the fee receipt, photo and self-attested documents by Speed Post or Registered Post, to the address in the advertisement. It must arrive by 26 November 2026, or the online application is rejected.
