Overview
CPCL is a Navratna PSU and a group company of IndianOil, with its refinery in Chennai. The upper age limit on 1 October 2026 is 28 for post codes 01 to 07. For the secretarial post it is 42 for Manager (Grade C) and 45 for Senior Manager (Grade D). SC and ST candidates get 5 years of relaxation against reserved posts.

Selection and how to apply
For most posts, selection is by a computer based test, with a skill test and interview where applicable. Candidates need at least 40% in the test and in the interview (35% for SC, ST and PwBD against reserved posts). The secretarial post uses group discussion and interview. Apply and pay online by 3 December 2026. The test is expected in December 2026 or January 2027.
