Overview
Under Advt. No. 38/2026, dated 13 October 2026, this Department of Biotechnology institute invites Indian nationals to join its PhD programme. The 17 positions are spread across research groups, each listed in the notice with its principal investigator.
Eligibility
You need an MSc, MTech, MPharm, MVSc, 4-year graduate programme or equivalent in life sciences or an allied subject, with at least 55%. You also need CSIR/UGC-JRF, DBT-JRF, UGC-RGNF, ICMR-JRF or a similar national fellowship valid for five years. You must be below 28 on the last date, with 5 extra years for SC, ST, PwD and women, and 3 for OBC-NCL.
Selection and how to apply
