Eligibility
Requirements follow UGC 2018 norms. You need one of the following:
- A Master's degree with 55% in a relevant subject, plus NET, SLET or SET. An eligible PhD can exempt you from the test, and the test does not apply to disciplines where it is not held.
- A PhD from a foreign university ranked in the world top 500 by QS, THE or ARWU.
Sanskrit, Hindu Studies and Indian Knowledge System posts also require proficiency in reading, writing and speaking Sanskrit. The academic score is used only for interview shortlisting. Selection depends only on interview performance.
