Pay, age and fee
Direct recruitment pay for a Professor is Level 14A (Rs. 1,68,900-2,20,400), and for an Additional Professor it is Level 13A2+ (Rs. 1,48,200-2,11,400). Retired faculty on contract get Rs. 2,20,000 and Rs. 2,00,000 a month. Age is counted on 14 November 2026, with 5 years' relaxation for SC, ST, PWD (OPH), government servants and ex-servicemen, and 3 for OBC. The fee is paid online for each post, to the account in the notice.
