Desirable skills
For Junior Assistant, the notice prefers office experience in a government or centrally funded body, fluent Hindi and English typing, office software skills, and good noting and drafting. For Junior Technician, it prefers lab experience in such a body or a BSc/BCA with 2 years' hands-on lab work, plus proficiency with relevant lab software.
Age and selection
Age, qualifications and experience are counted on 25 November 2026. Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, PwD, EWS and ex-servicemen follows Government of India norms.
All candidates take a Part-A MCQ written test. Based on Part-A scores, 7 candidates for the first vacancy and 5 for each further vacancy go on to Part-B (descriptive) and skill or trade tests. The Institute may set higher shortlisting standards, and it will notify the process later.
