NPCIL Stipendiary Trainee Eligibility 2024
To be eligible for the NPCIL Stipendiary Trainee positions, candidates must hold the following qualifications:

- 1st Year: ₹20,000 per month

Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN) – Maintainer:
After successful completion of training, appointment to Technician/B (Group-C) in Level 3 of the Revised Pay Structure with a pay of ₹21,700, with potential additional increments based on performance.

Selection Process for NPCIL Stipendiary Trainee Recruitment
The NPCIL Stipendiary Trainee selection process includes a two-stage written examination.
- Preliminary Test: This 1-hour exam has 50 multiple-choice questions on Mathematics, Science, and General Awareness. Minimum passing marks are 40% for General candidates and 30% for reserved categories.
- Advanced Test: This 2-hour exam features 50 multiple-choice questions related to the specific trade. Candidates need at least 30% in General and 20% in reserved categories to qualify.
For Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (Operator), no skill test is needed. Qualified candidates will be called for Physical Standard Test/Document Verification, with three times the number of vacancies being shortlisted.
For Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (Maintainer), a Skill Test will be conducted. The number of candidates for this test will be up to five times the vacancies, with those scoring equally invited. The Skill Test is qualifying, and the final selection will be based on Stage-2 exam scores.
