Qualification and selection
Technical Assistants need a 3-year full-time diploma in the discipline and 2 years' experience. Trades need ITI or SSC with experience, usually 2 years. Other posts have their own requirements in the advertisement. Working knowledge of Konkani or Marathi is desirable for most posts. Age and experience are counted on 30 September 2026, and OBC (NCL) get 3 years' relaxation and SC and ST 5.
Selection uses a written test and a skill test. Weightage is 50:50 for posts 1 to 3, 40:60 for 4 to 10, and 30:70 for 11 to 20. You need 40%, or 35% for SC, ST, PwBD and OBC on reserved posts.
