Overview
Under Ref. No. 8769, dated 27 October 2026, the Bihar Law Department invites willingness from advocates eligible under the Bihar Law Officers (Engagement) Rules, 2023, to act as law officers of the state in the Supreme Court. A Selection Committee under Rule 4 makes the recommendation, and applying gives no right to engagement.
The time limit is 15 working days from publication of the notice on the Law Department website. The notice does not print that publication date, so check it with the department and apply early.
