MahaTransco is going to recruit 64 apprenticeship positions in the role of Electrician. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming recruitment drive.
MahaTransco Apprentice Recruitment Notification
The recruitment drive is seeking dedicated individuals to fill 64 apprenticeship positions in the role of Electrician. This one-year program is designed to provide hands-on experience and professional development for candidates who have completed their NCVT certification in Electrician from a recognized Industrial Training Institute.
MahaTransco Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this apprenticeship, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualifications:
- Must have passed the Maharashtra State Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination.
- Should have completed the NCVT certification in Electrician from an accredited Industrial Training Institute.
- Age Limit:
- Applicants must be between 18 and 38 years of age.
- Reserved category candidates are eligible for a 5-year relaxation in the upper age limit.
- Required Documents:
- Original SSC and ITI Electrician mark sheets.
- Aadhar Card.
- Caste Certificate (for reserved category candidates).
- Domicile Certificate of Maharashtra State.
- Certificate proving the candidate does not fall under the advanced or enhanced group, along with any other relevant documents.
MahaTransco Selection Process 2024
The selection of candidates will be based on the following:
- Academic Performance:
- Selection will be determined by the percentage of marks in SSC and ITI examinations.
- Reservation Policies:
- The recruitment will adhere to social reservation policies to ensure fair consideration for reserved category candidates.
- Verification:
- All information provided will be verified thoroughly. Any discrepancies or false information will lead to disqualification.
- Fairness:
- Candidates must not apply pressure through political or other external means during the recruitment process. Such actions will result in disqualification.

- Application period: From 12.08.2024 (00:00 hours) to 23.08.2024 (24:00 hours).
- Document Submission:
- Upload scanned copies of required documents during the online application process.
- Submission of Form-A:
- After submitting the online application, complete Form-A (attached with the notice) and send it along with a printout of your application to the following address:

- Deadline: By 06.09.2024, 6:00 PM.
