Candidate selection includes two stages for the RRB Nursing Officer. It aims to select the most capable candidates for this post.

RRB Nursing Officer Age Limit
The RRB Staff Nurse Age Limit for 2024 specifies that candidates must be between 20 and 43 years old. Candidates who fall outside this age range are not eligible to apply for the position. However, there is Age Relaxation for the reserved category candidates.

RRB Nursing Officer Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed B.SC in Nursing from a recognised university or must have passed 3 years course in General Nursing and Midwifery from a school of Nursing
RRB Nursing Officer Exam Pattern
Candidates must familiarise themselves with the exam structure and marking scheme before appearing for the RRB Nursing Officer Recruitment 2024 exam. This is a Computer Based Test (CBT) carrying a total of 100 marks.
- Candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer
- And there is a 1/3 mark deduction for each incorrect answer
- The duration is 90 Min / 120 min for PwBD
- There are prescribed minimum qualifying marks i.e. 40% for UR, 30% for OBC/ST, and 25% for the ST candidates.

RRB Nursing Officer Salary 2024
Selected Candidates will be offered great compensation along with that many benefits will be provided by the Government. The RRB Nursing salary falls under Level 7 of the Pay Matrix as per the Central Pay Commission. The initial pay scale will be Rs. 44,900/-. The recruited candidates will also receive additional benefits such as DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, and other allowances as per rules.
